The Texas Law Enforcement Trainers Consortium is an organization for designated training coordinators at LE agencies and contract training academies in Texas. Mission Statement
The Consortium is dedicated to the professional enhancement of law enforcement training in the state of Texas through the development and training of personnel assigned to perform the duties of a Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) Training Coordinator as described in Section 215.9 and as appointed by their respective law enforcement agency.
Meetings
The Consortium meeting is held one day prior to the TCOLE commissioner meeting in the same host city. The meeting will be held prior to the Commissioners Workshop, in order to allow Consortium members to then attend the workshop. Promoting the collaboration and partnership with TCOLE in the development and implementation of training courses for all licensees within the state of Texas.
Membership
Membership is voluntary and is open to all personnel assigned to perform the duties of a Training Coordinator. This group is not affiliated with TCOLE directly.
Board Members
The Consortium Board Members shall consist of:

- Secretary
- Sergeant of Arms
The Presidential positions must be represented by each license; Peace Officer, Jailer, and Telecommunicator.
The Secretary and Sgt. at Arms can be any license holder.
